While I appreciate the design, i.e., the curvilinear spigot which factors in rectal anatomy, the water tends to get aerated, causing trapped air in the lower colon, which can lead to unpleasant gas and/or remnants well after douching. Of course, I learned to use this cautiously, and, to avoid aeration, I have filled the bulb to the brim, but this is far too much fluids, so I have attempted to use the water sparingly; to no avail. My recommendation is: buying an enema device that measures CCs --to track the amount of fluids-- and creates a more direct flow, much like a syringe, which can reduce aeration. |

You should only use clean water in your enema. And use it until what comes back out is clean. |

I like the product and it does exactly what is say's on the label. But I want more information and choices. For instances how many refills and evacuations, my experience is 6 refills, is that enough, not enough? and the "mixture" I would like a choice of additives rather than just liquid soap and water. Matter of fact I would like a range of additives and description of quality's ranging from nice healthy herbal stuff to out and out "get-out" |
